Hot to Update WSL Distribution Packages

Open your WSL terminal and run:

sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade -y
sudo apt dist-upgrade -y

After these commands finish, fully shut down WSL from PowerShell:

wsl --shutdown

Then, restart your WSL terminal.
